Decadence Cakes was started in 2013 when Pete & Billie were months away from welcoming their first child Leo. Pete had been working as a chef for 15 years and had noticed the struggle faced by cafe and restaurant owners to find quality cakes and sweet treats from wholesalers. Having completed much of his apprenticeship in the pastry section of a hatted restaurant, Pete and his wife Billie decided to start baking their own cakes, tarts and slices and selling them to local cafes and restaurants.

A big dream, many late nights spent baking, and 2 beautiful children later, Pete & Billie are proud to have created a busy business that caters to the beautiful Shoalhaven region though their Berry Street cafe and shopfront. With offerings extending beyond their hand-baked cakes to now include barista-made coffee, lunch options, catering and celebration cakes, Decadence and it's amazing team of chefs and front-of-house staff is now a well-known and much loved Shoalhaven destination...​​​

Our cakes are baked fresh, with close attention to detail and much love and passion. We also have a variety of gluten free and dairy free products available, and have now introduced some vegan options which are also gluten free.
